This is yet another reason why Japanese game developers are no longer relevant in the industry. No one wants to see Jap schoolgirls tied up (Yakuza). They want to see bulky American space marines fighting alien hordes (or zombies), just look at the sales numbers.

But I really have to ask how this games menus are a failure. I had no problem with them and I never played GT3/4 before. The menus seemed well laid out and logical.
Sure the game is basically Forza 2.5, but it is still fun and the menus are fine.

Being a Piracy gamer, er, I mean, PC gamer is nothing to be proud of. Do you see the console asteroid coming, it's practically here now. The impact will make PC gaming extinct.
I am a self-proclaimed XBOT, no doubt. But I also own a PS3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops for the PS3 too. I have logged just over 24 hours of game time on it and have yet to see any of these alleged issues people are petitioning about.

This game was to move 5+ million copies in a week according to all the Sony fanboys. What happened? Was it the Kart Racing, the lack of real damage and only cosmetic damage to cars that gets unlocked later in the game that tanked it.
I bought the game and love it. Don't care about the 7/10 reviews either. I love the game, I play the game, I have fun. Period.

I totally agree with your opinion. Let me give you an example. Rogue Warrior. According to reviews, the game sucks. Yet everywhere compares everything now to Call of Duty, so in that regard, it will score very low. Even so, and as a stoic XBOT, I will confess that Gran Turismo 5 is a great game and lots of fun to play.
Many of the issues they point out can be patched over time. So while I love my Forza 3 racing, there is absolutely no reason why I cannot also love playing Gran Turismo 5.
